Today I make a small 3-d camera rig for my friend Robert. He had bought 2 Canon  digital compact cameras and he wanted to shoot close to eye inter-axial digital photos, he also wanted the rig to be adjustable for wider inter-axial, so I modified a small Japanese built rig for him.

 My ideal digital 3-d camera always existed in my mind like the imaginary illustration here as the dual EOS-1DS, preferrably Mark 3 !

There should be auto focus in one lens selectable as the right or left one and then the other lens should just follow the
focus of the first one. The zoom should be manually and mechanically linked.
